The Security Feature Registry is an industry resource maintained by the NCHA. It is used to assign reference numbers to Security Feature Providers and their security features. These reference numbers are used to enable verification of the Security Features using the Interoperable Verification framework developed by FSTC and currently being standardized by X9B Workgroup 17. 

The registry consists of two parts, the XML Schema which defines the structure of the Registry, and the Feature Registry, which contains the data for registered features and reference tables.
